The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is the bigger variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. It is a newly introduced series from the Redmi Note’s family. It comes with a punch hole 32-mega pixels camera which makes it the first from the Redmi Note series to come with such megapixels count.

Design And Display.
Looking at the design of this device, it comes with the same design as the Note 9 Pro. It still has that curved edges with a triple Gorilla Glass 5 on the front, back, and on the camera frame. It weighs 209grams with a dimension of 165.5 x 76.7 x 8.8 mm.
The device also uses a dual nano sims slot and it is available in the same three colors which are Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black. There is also a splash-proof rating for the smartphone.
On the front, it has a punch hole cut-out for the selfie camera and it is the first from the Redmi Note series to come with that. It uses an IPS LCD screen which measures 6.67-inches with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels.
The smartphone has a maximum brightness of 450nits and a ppi density of 395. It has an acceptable chin size and bezels with a screen to body ratio of 84.6% and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Hardware And Software.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. For graphics or gaming, there is an Adreno 618 GPU.
The Note 9 Pro Max is available in three configurations which are a 6-gigabyte RAM and 64-gigabyte ROM, 6-gigabyte RAM, and 128-gigabyte ROM or an 8-gigabyte RAM and 128-giga byte ROM. There is a micro SD card slot for expansion.
For the photography aspect, the smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup which includes a 64MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, it has a big 32-mega pixels camera for selfies or video calls. The rear camera can record videos in 4K at 30fps and 1080P videos at 30 to 60fps. However, the front camera can only shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Battery And Connectivity.
What is keeping the light on in this device is a 5,020mAh battery capacity which supports 33W fast charging.
Xiaomi claims that the smartphone can go from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. For security, it makes use of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, dual-band Wifi Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
Internet connectivity on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is capped at 4G LTE, this means you don’t have the luxury of 5G internet speed. Download and uploads are limited to 4G speed.
